In its basic form, graphic design involves a number of artistic and professional disciplines that focus on visual communication and presentation. The process, which utilizes words, symbols and images towards a final product, must include the client and the designer.

There are two standards governing Melanie’s work: First, she takes the criteria handed her by the client and uses her creativity to imagine concepts that may suit the purpose. Secondly, once concepts are developed, she works with the client to modify and perfect a concept.

In many cases, graphic design is linked to a client’s decision to “brand” a product or service and the longevity, visibility and impact of that branding is something Melanie adheres to when developing a design.
